I’m Melissa Russell. I was gifted with small breasts. (Heck of a way to introduce myself, isn’t it?) When I was a young woman I experienced, as many women do, shame and self-consciousness about my body. I’d see those “magazine perfect” figures we were all raised to believe are “normal,” and I somehow always felt “less than.” But as I grew older (and wiser), I realized that there’s so much more to me than that! For example, my Girl Scout summer camp name was “Termite.” (Don’t ask!) I love Harry Potter and rocks and gluten free pizza and pancakes. I love traveling to see my daughter in college in San Francisco. I’m a casual singer songwriter with a guitar. I ride my bike, travel and say “hi,” to the woods as I pass through them (I might be a treehugger, for sure). Heck, I even recently took up tap dancing... and I LOVE it! And I’m a never-ending seeker of self-knowledge and spiritually.
I’m also a woman who broke her back in a near fatal car accident. Twenty years ago I rediscovered my zest for life and my new favorite self. I also discovered that my passion and gift was to help women reclaim their body and their life after breast cancer.

I Have Witnessed the Trauma and Held the Scars of Women Recovering from Breast Cancer for Years.
Like you, they did not want another surgery. After all of their physical therapy visits they still had deep scars and adhesions along with pain and the unforgivable tightness.
They did not want another pain pill, muscle relaxer, or anti-depressant.
They wanted a SOLUTION... to get back to the gym instead of being side tracked by their lingering pain and tightness. Instead of feeling fear and dread they wanted insights into what was going on with their bodies.
If you are like most of the women that reach out to me, you want RESULTS.
Imagine a day without pain. What would it be like to truly recover from your breast cancer surgeries and treatments
Without addressing the pain or better yet the cause, the pain only gets louder, the restrictions get tighter, and the days are marked with continued exhaustion.
Maybe you have already had therapy and tried other techniques that promised results... but resulted in the same ole same ole.
Some of you have had multiple surgeries and your chest is tight from radiation and they told that this is as good as it gets.
This is what I hear from women when they come to work with me and after our sessions they often say..."I wish I would have found you sooner..."
It is an such an honor to support the journey of women as their bodies truly heal.
Discover how you too can fill in the GAP between Breast Cancer and Your New Favorite Self.
